Dog Training

One on One Training

$30 for ½ to 1 hour session.

This unique style of training is for the highly motivated individual who wants to learn the nuts and bolts of training.

*Warning, many people with good intentions start out but quickly find they do not have the time, patience, room and/or ability to follow through with the training. Remember you are doing the training work.

Obedience Training

The dog will stay at Whistler Farm for the entire time we train it.

Obedience training is $175 per week.

Price includes dog’s room and board. It also includes training of the owner and family with the dog.

Training includes basic dog obedience, heel, sit, stay, down, don’t jump up, come when called and socialization with people and with other animals.

Whistler Farm will train your dog to obedience trial or hunter field trial levels. You are responible for competing your own dog unless special arrangements and additional compensation are made ahead of time.

Gun Dog Training

The dog will stay at Whistler Farm for the entire time we train it.

Gun Dog training is $450 per month.

Price includes dog’s room and board, as well as training of the owner with the dog.

Birds used during normal training are included in the monthly fee.

Any live birds you wish to shoot are extra or have your dog retrieve will be billed at the going rate.

*Please Note, it is very hard to do Gun Dog Training from September to December because the days are so short. If you are interested, the Spring and Summer months are best.
